The intricate details of God's creation and the fruit of our ingenuity reveal great beauty. With the help of my camera, I focus my attention on these details. I capture a moment in time and space; a small rectangular image extracted out of the surrounding profusion of visual stimuli; a microcosm of the world we live in. Under the influence of light, separated from its usual frame of reference, an object is transformed to take on a startling new individuality. Colours dazzle, the mundane fades into the background and the miracluous appears. I hope to delight you through my work and inspire you to look with fresh eyes at the world around you.
Dragon Breath.
This photo was taken in the Drakensberg Mountains in South Africa. Colours are as they appeared in nature under the brilliant light of the African sky. The yellow substance in the water was probably due to algae.
